Camp investment

What it takes to be in.

We call it investment, not dues, because that's what it actually is. Camp infrastructure costs money up front, and you get a working camp on the other side of it. Below: the two tiers, plus how to give beyond if you've got the means.

Member

$600/ season

Everyone pays this. Covers infrastructure, court, bar, kitchen, water, MOOP, generator, portos, and shade.

  • Court access all week
  • Bar + picklebacks
  • Shared kitchen, fridges, prep
  • Showers + gray water
  • Camp portos
  • Generator power for shared space
  • Shade structures

Bring your own meals.

Member + RV slot

Limited
$600/ season

Everything in Member, plus a marked RV slot on the camp footprint with shore power and gray-water hookup. RV fees vary by slot — ask us.

  • Reserved RV parking spot
  • Shore power
  • Gray-water tie-in

Limited slots — first applications, first served.

Founding members

We're capping the roster at about fifty. Small enough that you'll know everyone by Wednesday, and what you bring actually moves the camp. Founding members get first dibs on the 2027 roster.

Where the money goes

Roughly: half of dues covers built infrastructure (shade, kitchen, court, plumbing). The other half covers consumables (generator fuel, water, ice, propane, MOOP supplies, shower fuel) and the bar program for a week of picklebacks. RV fees go directly to power, gray-water service, and the cost of holding a marked slot within the camp footprint.

We'll publish a clean post-burn financial summary so members can see exactly where it went.

Beyond the line item

Help us build it bigger.

Dues cover the bones. Everything that takes camp from functional to memorable comes from people who can afford to give more than the minimum.

First-year camps don't have built-up infrastructure or surplus cash. Deeper bar stock for a week of picklebacks. Art panels for the camp facade. Materials for a build-on-playa shade extension. A bigger e-bike fleet. A real sound system at the court. These come from people who want this thing to be more than fine. They want it unforgettable.

If you've got room beyond dues, drop us a note below — we'll tell you exactly where it goes.

Or just email brcpickleballclub@gmail.com.

Money

Cash above dues. Send a note — we'll share the right payment handle and tell you exactly where it goes.

Stuff

Lights, sound gear, shade fabric, a kept-clean rug, a working radio. Real items camp can use.

Time

Build-week labor, set-up shifts, kitchen leads, bartending. Note these on your application.

We don't publish donor names. Burner culture, plus we'd rather thank you in person at the bar.
